POINT 1: Attendance & Participation

• Since the course is condensed into 7 weeks, class attendance and active participation (speaking and expressing opinions, asking questions, etc.) is a very important aspect. More than one missed class will have a significant impact on your final evaluation.

POINT 2: Readings

• Almost every week I will provide readings for homework. They will be noted on the Syllabus page and available for download (mostly) on the Readings page. I will not test you to make sure you do them. They are recommended to enhance your classroom experience as well as improve your written assignments.

POINT 3: Unit Reflections & Group Reports

• At the end of each of the 5 class units, I will ask you to submit a 1-2 page reflection single spaced typed and sent by e-mail about the themes OR a group report based on class work. This paper is due as noted in the syllabus.
